Recipes will be centered on the board. 
 
Steps to place an order:
1. Place your order online. 
2. Email us the photos of your recipe at hello@thelanternboutique.com or send them via Facebook messenger. See the tips below for taking photos
3. We will prepare a proof for you to review before engraving for approval. Proof will be sent to you the same way you sent us the recipes images.      
4. Once we get your approval, we will engrave your boards 
5. We will ship or notify you that your boards are ready for pickup. 
 
Please note that we will engrave on the darker wood (acacia wood) but we do recommend the light color rubber wood as your recipe will stand out better on the light color board. 
 
PHOTO TAKING TIPS:
- Place your recipe on a well lit, flat surface, to take the photo
- Try to avoid casting any shadows on the recipe
- If the writing is faded or not legible, make a photocopy of the recipe, then 
  trace over the writing with dark ink
- Make sure the picture or scan is clear, bright, and not blurry

Please note that since these are machine and custom engraved, each board will have slight variations. We will try to keep the original image as intact as possible, but slight imperfections may occur when the machine engraves it.
 
If, for some reason, we are not able to digitize your photo after you place your order, we will notify you, and you will be eligible for a full refund.
